We welcome you to join us from February 27 to March 9, 2025, in beautiful Plant City, Florida. Our gates open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., with special extended hours for weekend activities and midway entertainment.
A Sweet History
Our festival’s roots go back to 1930 when the Plant City Lions Club started this wonderful tradition. While we took a brief pause during World War II, our community came together to bring the festival back stronger than ever in 1948. Today, we’re proud that our event ranks among North America’s Top 40 Fairs, drawing about half a million visitors each year.

We’re famous for our strawberry shortcake, but that’s just the beginning! You’ll find creative strawberry dishes everywhere you look – from classic strawberry pies to unique treats like strawberry tacos. Our local farmers grow these sweet berries across more than 10,000 acres of Hillsborough County farmland.
