  1. Talk to any local that actually lives in Caseville, besides the handful of millionaires that control and force their agaenda with no oversight upon this town, and they will tell you that; A. This is not a family friendly event but a drunkfest with open alcohol everywhere and not enough police to curtail the massive influx of drugs and violence B. Crime escalates to epic proportions (it is not safe after dark) C. This does not benefit the community outside of the businesses on Main Street who’s sole purpose is to fleece all vacationers of their last penny overcharging for every amenity.
I am a sole proprioter business owner myself serving the Caseville community since 1999 and the negative effects of this festival are felt far and wide even after the last overpriced cheesburger is consumed. I refuse to support this greedy tourist trap of a town and neither should you.

    1. Hi David,

Thank you for taking the time to share your perspective. We understand that large events like the Cheeseburger Festival can have both positive and negative impacts, and it’s important to acknowledge the experiences of all members of the community — not just visitors. Our article’s goal is to provide information about the festival’s history and schedule for those who choose to attend, while also welcoming open dialogue about different viewpoints.

Your feedback highlights concerns that some locals have expressed in the past, and we encourage respectful discussion about how events like this can evolve to better serve the entire community.
