Future Ruins Festival
November 8
$362The Future Ruins Festival is a brand-new music and arts festival created by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross. They designed this festival to shine a spotlight on composers who usually work behind the scenes in film and television, giving them a stage where they can perform their music live in front of an audience. Instead of being a typical music festival, Future Ruins is meant to feel like a deeply immersive and cinematic experience, where the focus is on the art of soundtracks and scores.
There will be three different stages set up at the venue, each offering its own vibe and environment. Every artist performing there will be treated like a headliner, meaning no one is considered more important than the other. This setup encourages each composer to present their music in new ways, take creative risks, and reimagine their own pieces for a live audience, which is something they rarely get to do. The lineup includes some of the most well-known and respected names in the world of film and television music. Danny Elfman, famous for creating the music for movies like Batman, The Nightmare Before Christmas, and Edward Scissorhands, will be performing, along with John Carpenter, who is known for his iconic horror scores such as Halloween and The Thing. There will also be a performances.
Tickets for the festival will go on sale on May 21, 2025, at 12 PM PT, and there will be different ticket tiers such as General Admission and VIP, each offering its own set of perks for visitors. The festival is open to people of all ages, and once someone’s ticket is scanned and they enter the venue, they won’t be allowed to leave and re-enter again, so everyone is encouraged to plan their day carefully.
